Before the supplier dispatches

Obtain the receiving address and order reference from the team; the legal company address is not a cargo receiving address. Ask the supplier to mark the reference on packages and dispatch records. Keep domestic tracking, expected package count and the ready date for reconciliation.

Scope of photos and checks

An exterior package photo shows only its visible condition. Opening cartons, counting units, checking variants and functional testing require a separately agreed scope. Define the checklist, sample quantity and reporting criteria before inspection. Record the decision to correct, return or proceed with any discrepancy.

After packing

Confirm final dimensions, weight, package count and stackability. For fragile or heavy items, discuss inner protection, pallets or crates and their effect on volume and weight. Approving packing appearance does not establish insurance coverage or transport liability.
