What does an air freight enquiry need?
Provide the exact goods description, gross weight, dimensions of each package, package count, China collection point and destination city in Iran. Declare batteries, liquids, powders, magnets and branded goods.
Actual and dimensional weight
The transport provider determines chargeable weight under its service rules. For bulky, lightweight cargo, package volume can matter more than actual weight. Confirm the divisor, rounding and minimum charge in the final offer.
Confirm the actual transport plan
Cargo acceptance, routing, flight capacity, departure and delivery timing, and origin and destination charges are checked at enquiry. Allow separately for preparation and customs processing.
Questions before you approve the service
Does a freight offer include clearance, duties and delivery to my address?
Do not infer these inclusions from the transport mode. For the actual shipment, confirm service start and end points, origin and destination charges, document responsibilities, the importer and the party paying duties. Delivery to Anzali Free Trade Zone differs from delivery to another address; other cities and address delivery require separate confirmation.
What period does a transport-time estimate cover?
Ask which events start and end the estimate: supplier collection, cargo departure or handover at the agreed point. Review purchasing, supplier readiness, waiting for other orders, packing and destination processing separately. Main-transport time alone does not establish the final delivery date; routing, acceptance and the actual shipment plan require confirmation.
