Honour Ocean describes a buyer with no team in China purchasing from eight suppliers in Guangdong and Zhejiang. The orders were ready at different times, and the buyer wanted one consolidated shipment.
The shortage surfaced before loading
Each supplier’s delivery was registered and counted separately. One sent fewer cartons than declared. The discrepancy was photographed and reported so the buyer could decide whether to wait for the balance or release the shipment.
The reported outcome
The operator reports delivery of the consolidated shipment to the agreed address with one set of documents. The original report does not identify the destination country.
What should receiving instructions establish?
