Where does land freight fit in the review?
Land freight is PersiaCargo’s primary transport focus. When comparing sea and air, also ask whether a land option can be offered for the same goods, destination and need-by date. Acceptance and routing conditions require order-specific confirmation. The land-freight preparation article in the related reading explains the information needed for that review.
Start with the date the goods are needed
Write down the destination need-by date, the supplier’s actual ready date and your decision deadline. For air and sea options, ask for the complete interval from cargo handover to the agreed delivery point. Main-transport time alone does not cover purchasing, waiting for other suppliers, preparation or destination processing. This page provides no departure schedule or guaranteed delivery time.
Which cargo should you review for each mode?
For compact cargo with a specific time requirement, reviewing an air option can be a useful starting point. For bulkier cargo with a flexible deadline, also request a sea option. These are comparison prompts, not acceptance decisions. Disclose batteries, liquids, powders, magnets, brands, fragility and unusual dimensions before buying. Availability in China does not establish acceptance by either mode.
Compare two offers with the same scope
Send the same goods description, package count, gross weights, dimensions and origin/destination cities for both enquiries. Align the service start and end points and the treatment of collection, receiving, packing, documents and destination charges. If one offer ends at a port and another at the delivery address, the freight-price difference alone cannot determine your choice.
Illustrative scenario: an urgent part and an unfinished order
Suppose part of an order is needed to begin work while a second supplier is still preparing goods. Ask the team to review two scenarios: wait for all purchases, or dispatch the ready part and move the balance later. For the split option, ask separately about repeated preparation, documentation and transport charges. This is a decision example, not a savings claim or confirmation that your cargo can be split.
Before approving the transport mode
Record cargo acceptance, final packing, responsibility for documents and import arrangements, delivery point and quote validity. Ask about excluded charges and what happens if a supplier misses readiness. To review an order with PersiaCargo, send the goods details and need-by date, and ask which options can actually be offered and what conditions apply.
