Execution: an overland crossing of Central Asia
The truck exited at Khorgas and crossed Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan and Iran. This southern corridor avoided the Caspian Sea transfer required on the middle corridor.
The reported result
IRU reported a 20-day journey to Yerevan. A second truck followed the route, leaving China through Alashankou. The stated duration applies to that Shanghai–Yerevan operation.
